Day 4 of Swimming Lessons!

Kendal jumped off the diving board today! For the first time in swimming lessons. I loved how Mrs. Julieann didn't care if Kendal was crying, she still tossed her in. Before swimming lessons this morning though, Kendal was crying and saying "I don't want to go see Mrs. Julieann today." Well, sorry sister! But we have to learn to swim! 

Compared to yesterday...Kendal did really well falling off the side and turning to get the wall. Much faster today! She is still doing the bicycle kicks, but she isn't getting help from Mrs. Julieann. It's funny to watch, but Kendal can swim all by herself...she just runs out of air and then finally kicks hard enough to get to the side. Guess she has to learn the hard way! That's pretty much how she has to learn everything. 

Kendal screams during the lesson, but as soon as she is done she's completely fine. I'm so glad she at least likes being in her tube! And there are friends there to swim with!

Today Kendal moved closer and closer to jumping off the diving board. Obviously from this picture below, she didn't like that.

She did jump off, I think I took video here. Wanted Tanner to see as well :) It will be posted at the end.

Today Kendal did another new trick. Mrs. Julieann put a green ring on the third step. Kendal had to swim under water to get it. Of course, she was helped most the time...but she did get it!

More jumping off the side!

It's so fun to see the action shots and to see her getting the swimming down! She is such a fast learner and so funny! I uploaded some videos. After Kendal would come up from under the water, she would just start crying, even though nothing was wrong. Mrs. Julieann would tell Kendal to take a deep breath and relax, Kendal would. But it was a very dramatic breath.
