Free Day...

Yesterday, Saturday, we kind of had a free day. Not a whole lot to do. So Kendal and I, well more so just I, decided to go take some pictures. Friday I spent the day with my mom scrapbooking and with my dad learning about my camera. It was a lot of fun! My dad figured out some things I had been trying to learn, he then showed me how to do them. I then wanted to hurry and practice so I won't forget them. So yesterday I took time to go and practice. Let me know what you think?? It's easy when I've got such a cute assistant! She's got some pretty silly faces. 

Happy New Year!!

For the New Year celebration we went up to Cliff Castle Casino in Camp Verde to see a huge fireworks display. This was actually our 3rd year going there. We got to the casino around 10pm and kind of waited around until midnight. Kendal was actually awake so I though maybe she'd see the fireworks. But she fell asleep 10 minutes before midnight and slept all through the show. After the fireworks we drove to Flagstaff to stay the night and planned on staying and playing in the snow the next day. We bought a big tube to slide down the hills with. We had a blast!! Kendal did too. Here are a lot of pictures of our trip. (I hate typing. Just look at the pictures! haha!)

Kendal is 5 months old!!!!

Can you believe it?!?! Kendal is 5 months old now!!! She is soo extremely talkative and social. She loves everyone, unless she just woke up then she kinda gets sad. On Christmas Eve she sat up for her first time! It was a big shock to see her sitting there all by herself! She's so stinkin strong! Well here are some pictures of her from Christmas and today. Santa Clause

I really really wanted to go and see Santa with Kendal this year! We waited until almost the last minute, but we still went! We waited in line for almost 3 hours!! Kendal did really well though. Slept a little and loved watching the other kids. Tanner was bored and wanted to go walk around. So he went up to the food court, in Arrowhead Mall, and called me saying he thinks Twitch is up there. For those of you who don't know who Twitch is...on the TV show So You Think You Can Dance he was one of the finalist. Such an amazing dancer!! I told Tanner to go ask him and if it was him ask him if he'd come say hi to me because I would really love to meet him!! Well Tanner did!! Twitch ended up coming down stairs and took a picture with Kendal and I!! It was sooo cool!! I have my husband to thank for such an awesome night!! Santa and Twitch!!

The Nutcracker

This past Saturday my mom, sister, Kendal and I went to the Nutcracker. This is our 17th year going. But this year was special because I had my baby! It was so awesome to bring Kendal and start this tradition with her. She was actually really good during the ballet. She watched the dancers for a little while and then got a little tired. She slept through intermission and woke up during the second half of the ballet to eat. After the show was over there was at least 20 people who crowed near Kendal and would just adore her. "Look how beautiful" "She's so cute" and Kendal would just flirt back with big ol smiles. She is soo funny. Loves the attention she gets. Here are some pictures of us at the ballet. My mom is in a wheelchair because she had surgery on her foot, well both feet, but didn't want to walk all the way from the parking garage to Symphony Hall. 

Kind of washed out but I'll post a better one when I get it. 

Rolling and Giggling

Yesterday we went to the Doctor for Kendal's 4 month check up!! She's already 4 months!!!! She weighs 14lbs 9oz and is 26inches long. She is getting so talkative and giggly. And just yesterday she started rolling over. Every time we lay her on her back she rolls over to her tummy. Can't quit figure out how to go from her tummy to back. We try to help her and push her a little to go to one side but she just lays her head down. It's pretty cute. She's got a bit of an attitude, but that's a girl for you. Been really bad about taking pictures but I've been kind of stressed out and going through some post-pardum depression. But I will take pictures soon and post them. She sure is growing.

Everything else is going ok. Tanner is still looking for a new job, but with the way things are right now, it's really hard. Not really a lot going on in our lives. But my extended family has a lot going on! My cousins Clint and Clark, twins, received their mission calls. One to Philadelphia and the other to Huston. Forgot which one is going where : ) Also my Aunt Leslie and Uncle Jared are expecting TWINS!!! They are going to have 4 kids under the age of 3!!! HOLY MOLY!! Good luck to them! But honestly, if anyone could handle that it would be them! haha Tanner's brother also received his mission call. He is going to Nicerogua!! Wow! Lots going on! Anyway, getting ready for the holidays! This is my favorite time of year!
